Exciting contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based services! Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current or eligible New York SLP licensure (Clinical Fellowship candidates also encouraged)
  • ASHA CCC-SLP credential or CFY status accepted
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based speech therapy strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized care
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 19 students, with potential for additional speech improvement responsibilities
  • Screen, assess, and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster the best possible outcomes
  • Support students primarily in grades K-4, with oversight of a small number of middle school students
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation as required by school and state standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed, providing expert input and recommendations
