Exciting opportunities await passionate Special Education teachers who hold dual certification in Early Childhood (EC SpEd) and Elementary (ES SpEd). Two full-time positions are available at elementary schools in a vibrant, supportive community near Stillwater, MN. These onsite contract roles extend across the 2026-2027 school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference for students from early childhood through fifth grade.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license with certifications in both Early Childhood Special Education and Elementary Special Education (PDF copy required with application)
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in a school setting
- Ability to design and deliver individualized learning plans and collaborate with fellow educators and families
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptive problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusion and empowering all learners to achieve their highest potential
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering half-day instruction and support in early childhood special education and half-day resource teaching for K-5 students
- Creating engaging, individualized instructional strategies to address varied learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborating with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other teachers to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintaining accurate records, completing IEP documentation, and participating in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Participating in ongoing school initiatives and professional development opportunities
This contract position begins in early September 2026 and continues through early June 2027, with a 37.5-hour work week. You’ll have the chance to make a lasting impact while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators dedicated to nurturing student growth and success.
