What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong background in teaching science at the high school level
  • Current, active Louisiana Department of Education teacher certification (no TAT or in-progress licenses considered)
  • Comfortable working full-time (35 hours/week), Monday through Friday in alignment with a school calendar
  • Flexible and adaptable—number of school site assignments and caseload will be confirmed prior to placement
  • Willing to fulfill strict credentialing requirements, including district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting

Your Role Will Include:

  • Delivering dynamic science instruction for general education high school students
  • Developing lesson plans that engage learners and promote understanding of key science concepts
  • Assessing student performance and providing timely feedback to support academic growth
  • Collaborating with school staff and administration to maintain an effective classroom environment
