School Psychologist | Hockessin, Delaware

Support students and make a meaningful impact by stepping into this engaging full-time, in-person School Psychologist role. In this contract opportunity, you’ll provide services at both an elementary and middle school within convenient proximity, allowing you to build strong relationships while collaborating with a diverse team of educators and families. Your expertise will help guide students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid Delaware School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
• Experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of child development, learning differences, and intervention strategies
• Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
• Effective communicator, both with students and multi-disciplinary teams
• Able to work onsite, traveling easily between elementary and middle school locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative psychological services to students in both elementary and middle school settings
• Perform assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and recommend interventions
• Participate actively in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other student support plans
• Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to foster student well-being and academic achievement
• Lead and support behavioral and mental health initiatives within the schools
• Maintain accurate documentation aligned with district and state requirements

This full-time, Monday through Friday position totals 37.5 hours per week. You’ll work alongside dedicated professionals in an environment that values your expertise and commitment to student success.
