This pivotal opportunity places you directly in a substantially separate classroom, where your primary responsibility will be providing dedicated, one-on-one support to a student with Autism. You'll work under the supervision and guidance of a district BCBA, allowing you to grow your skills and make a lasting impact in a collaborative educational setting.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification
  • Previous experience working with children with Autism preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to implement behavior intervention plans
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting neurodiverse students
  • Ability to follow direction and work effectively within a team

Your Important Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized behavioral support for an assigned elementary student in a substantially separate classroom
  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies as directed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collect and maintain accurate data and documentation on student progress and behaviors
  • Work collaboratively with classroom staff and school professionals to support a positive learning environment
  • Adapt quickly to the needs of the student and contribute to their academic and social development
  • Participate in required trainings and meetings to remain current with best practices
