School Psychologist | Woodbridge, Virginia

As a School Psychologist working on a contract basis, you'll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families, ensuring every student receives the guidance and interventions they need for success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid and current School Psychologist credential/certification in Virginia (or eligibility for Virginia licensure)
• Strong knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and Special Education processes
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Previous work in a school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to evaluate students’ needs
• Interpret assessment results and develop evidence-based recommendations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to IEP and 504 Plan development
• Deliver direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student achievement and well-being
• Collect data and document student progress in line with school and district guidelines
• Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive school environments
