TDLR Journeyman Electrician - 18 month project - ASAP!!!
Job Description
We are seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a long-term construction project in Amarillo, TX.
\nThis project offers approximately 18 months of steady work for qualified candidates.
\n\n
Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. - 40 hrs per week.
\nPay is $43/hour.
\nPer diem of $100 per day / days worked
\nRequirements:
\n-Must possess a valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Journeyman Card - No TDLR apprentice license accepted.
\n -Ability to pass a drug test and Federal background check.
Required Commercial Electrical Skills:
\n-Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
\n -Installing EMT, RMC, PVC, and other raceway systems
\n -Conduit bending using hand and power benders
\n -Pulling and terminating wire and cable
\n -Installing electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, and distribution equipment
\n -Installing lighting systems and lighting controls
\n -Installing receptacles, switches, and branch circuits
\n -Running underground and above-ground electrical systems
\n -Performing equipment rough-in and final trim work
\n -Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements
\n -Troubleshooting electrical systems and identifying issues
\n -Working safely around energized and de-energized systems
