\n The Project Manager is responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts. This individual will manage projects from initiation through implementation and post-implementation assessment while adhering to project management and change management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. To drive project success, this role is responsible for assembling project management deliverables, directing and monitoring work efforts, identifying resource needs, performing quality review, and escalating issues appropriately. This is a hybrid position which requires in office hours.
Education and Experience Requirements:
\nBachelor’s degree required. Will consider commensurate experience
\nMinimum 7 years of experience in a project management role is required
\nCertificate, Licenses and Registration Requirements:
\nFormal Project Management training strongly preferred; PMP Certification preferred. Candidates who do not have formal project management training or a PMP certification must be willing to obtain formal project management training within one year of employment.
\nCCMP certification preferred (Prosci certification a plus)
\nKnowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
\nExperience with Project Management tools. Planview and/or Jira preferred
\nDemonstrated experience managing projects of medium/large size and scope
\nAbility to effectively manage simultaneous projects
\nDemonstrated leadership ability with experience influencing and driving cross-functional teams
\nStrong organizational and analytical skills
\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to include effective presentation skills
\nEssential Functions:
\nManages all assigned projects to timely completion within scope and budget.
\nDevelops, defines, and maintains project plan including scope, deliverables, and resource distribution.
\nEffectively utilizes project management software to track project progress and manage resources to drive project completion.
\nManages a cross-functional deployment team including internal and third-party resources when necessary; coordinates and tracks activities amongst all to achieve goals.
\nCoordinates and facilitates project meetings including role and task assignment, status reporting, and issue identification/resolution.
\nMaintains communication with all project stakeholders.
\nAddresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to executive management.
\nMentors other Project Managers.
\nMonitors effectiveness of project management and change management processes and methodologies; recommends improvements as necessary.
