\n \n What You'll Do\nAs a Labor & Birth RN, you'll utilize the nursing process to provide exceptional care for mothers, infants, and families through every stage of the childbirth experience.

- Develop and implement individualized plans of care \n
- Monitor and manage laboring and high-risk patients \n
- Recognize and respond to emergent situations \n
- Utilize evidence-based practice to guide patient care \n
- Advocate for mothers, babies, and families \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams \n
- \n
- Manage complex patient assignments \n
- Independently evaluate changing patient conditions \n
- Lead and respond effectively during emergencies \n
- Serve as a clinical resource for peers \n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives \n
- \n
- Provide individualized education based on patient needs \n
- Support families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care \n
- Promote positive outcomes through effective teaching and communication \n
- \n
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (expected) \n
- Current RN License (or Compact License) \n
- BLS Certification (AHA) \n
- \n
- NRP Required \n
- ACLS Required \n
- Intermediate Fetal Heart Rate Training Provided for Labor RNs \n
- \n

- Strong critical thinking skills \n
