Material Handler - Shipping & Receiving

Job Title: Material Handler II
Location: Marana, AZ
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Shift: 1st shift (40 Hours/Week)
Pay Rate: $19.22/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Material Handler II to support warehouse and production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for material movement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and ensuring production teams receive materials on time. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, move, and distribute materials throughout the facility
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking and maintain inventory records
• Support production by delivering materials in a timely manner
• Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including unloading and loading shipments
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety regulations
• Communicate inventory shortages, discrepancies, or damaged materials to supervisors
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 5–10 years of material handling, warehouse, or logistics experience
• Experience with inventory control, shipping, and receiving
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management or inventory systems preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Forklift certification preferred (not required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

• Warehouse and production environment
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
• Ability to safely lift and move materials as required
• Overtime may be required based on business needs
