Per Diem Pharmacist - Manassas, Virginia

A nursing home serving approximately 50 residents is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage during select dates in August and June. This per diem position offers Monday to Friday weekday shifts from 9 AM to 5 PM, supporting continuity of pharmaceutical care in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal medication management
• Utilize PointClickCare computer system for documentation and communication

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience, preferably in a long-term care or nursing home environment
• Active and clear Virginia pharmacist license
• Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems, experience with PointClickCare is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Coverage needed on August 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11
