Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher license required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Current knowledge of best practices in special education instruction, classroom management, and IEP development
- Experience working with students with a range of disabilities and learning needs
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique strengths and needs
- Differentiate instruction and curriculum to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success in inclusive and specialized settings
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to district and state guidelines
- Foster a supportive, respectful learning environment where all students are empowered to thrive
