Special Education Teacher - Pulaski, Wisconsin

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting inclusive education through two contract roles focused on cross-categorical special education instruction for middle and high school students. These positions, based at a vibrant educational community near Oneida, WI, begin August 18, 2026, and continue through June 10, 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for educators passionate about fostering growth and achievement for learners with mild-to-moderate disabilities, including those with autism, learning disabilities, emotional behavior disorders, or mild intellectual disabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin Cross-Categorical Special Education teaching certification (License #2801)
• Demonstrated strength in working with students on the autism spectrum
• Solid classroom management and differentiation skills
• Effective communication and collaboration with families, general educators, and support staff
• Experience with IEP development, progress monitoring, and appropriate interventions
• Ability to create supportive and adaptive learning environments for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support for students in grades 6-8 or at the high-school level in a cross-categorical setting
• Adapt and modify lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure IEP implementation and student success
• Maintain records and monitor student progress according to district and state guidelines
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
