Open positions are available for both Preschool Disabilities (PSD) Teachers and Preschool Intervention (PSI) Teachers. In these roles, you will have the opportunity to create engaging, individualized instruction and work closely with experienced teams to drive student success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing instruction based on each student’s IEP.
- Delivering high-quality teaching in PSD or PSI preschool classrooms.
- Collaborating with families, related service providers, and school staff.
- Employing evidence-based strategies to support academic, social, and emotional development.
- Maintaining strong, positive classroom management practices.
- Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
- Building meaningful partnerships with caregivers to support each child’s growth.
Desired qualifications:
- New Jersey Preschool through Grade 3 (P-3) Certification (required).
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) or Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) certification for PSD roles.
- New Jersey Special Education Certification (TOSD or TOH) for PSI positions.
- Prior experience working with preschool-aged children with disabilities is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, and instructional skills.
