What we’re seeking:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist, eligible for practice in schools
- Previous experience working as a school-based OT, or strong interest in pediatrics and education settings
- Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention and treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational abilities and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation
- Adaptability and creativity in meeting diverse student needs within a school community
Key responsibilities:
- Provide assessments and interventions for students with a variety of needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input for programming decisions
- Maintain timely, thorough records and progress reports per school and federal guidelines
- Create engaging, goal-driven therapy activities that promote student independence
- Support generalization of skills across classroom, school, and community environments
