Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials
- Experience with school-based OT services
- Strong abilities in teletherapy and in-person interventions
- Proficiency in assessing and supporting fine and gross motor skill development
- Comfort collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Adaptability to work across multiple school sites within a district
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students individually and in groups, both onsite and virtually when needed
- Conduct thorough evaluations and create personalized treatment plans focusing on fine and gross motor development
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success in academic and social settings
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Guide and oversee COTAs within the district, offering mentorship and support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative decision-making
- Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each campus and student
