Occupational Therapist School Setting - Kennesaw, GA

Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting young learners during a maternity leave coverage assignment. This contract opportunity spans two elementary schools and one private school student in a vibrant, supportive educational community near Kennesaw, GA.

In this role, you will work a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) beginning November 2nd and tentatively running through January 29th, with the possibility of an extension through February 26th. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with caring educators and families while providing essential therapy services to empower students’ success in the classroom.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Georgia
• Experience with school-based OT preferred
• Ability to effectively manage a pediatric caseload across multiple elementary locations
• Collaborative attitude and strong communication skills
• Adaptability and commitment to best practices in school therapy services

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services according to student IEPs and 504 plans
• Conduct student assessments, develop treatment plans, and set measurable goals
• Provide consultative support to teachers and staff for educational access
• Document services and progress accurately and timely
• Communicate regularly with families, school staff, and administrators
• Travel between Clear Creek Elementary, Pine Log Elementary, and serve one private school student
