Step into an impactful school-based contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in the greater Hartford, CT area. Three positions are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists, each providing dedicated services at local schools as part of an onsite team. Assignments range from August to November, allowing you to make a tangible difference over the fall semester in preschool through middle school settings.

Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut SLP-CCC license required
  • Previous experience working in school environments strongly preferred
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to independently manage school caseloads

Role Details & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services at:
    • Green-Hills PreK (08.24.2026 to 11.13.2026)
    • Chippens Hill Middle School (08.27.2026 – End of November)
    • Mountain View (08.27.2026 – 11.23.2026)
  • Work full-time, 35 hours per week onsite at assigned school
  • Assess, plan, and deliver therapy aligned with student IEPs and school goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support teams to promote student success
  • Maintain all necessary documentation, adhering to state and district guidelines
