Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and collaborative problem-solving with educational teams
  • Skilled in individualized education program (IEP) development and special education evaluation
  • Strong communication, consultation, and crisis intervention capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility determination
  • Collaborate with teachers, administration, and parents to develop strategies that promote student success
  • Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students as outlined in IEPs or based on referrals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contribute to educational planning, and deliver staff professional development
  • Support positive behavioral interventions and systems within the school
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with federal and state education regulations
