Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and collaborative problem-solving with educational teams
- Skilled in individualized education program (IEP) development and special education evaluation
- Strong communication, consultation, and crisis intervention capabilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility determination
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and parents to develop strategies that promote student success
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students as outlined in IEPs or based on referrals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contribute to educational planning, and deliver staff professional development
- Support positive behavioral interventions and systems within the school
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with federal and state education regulations
