Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience administering psychological assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans
  • Knowledge of behavioral interventions and crisis response strategies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, school staff, and families
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify students' needs
  • Interpret assessment data and provide recommendations for student support
  • Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in eligibility determination and goal setting
  • Deliver counseling and intervention services, both individually and in groups
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to support student learning and positive behavioral outcomes
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed within the school environment
  • Document evaluations, services provided, and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
