Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience administering psychological assessments and interpreting results
- Strong background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans
- Knowledge of behavioral interventions and crisis response strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, school staff, and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify students' needs
- Interpret assessment data and provide recommendations for student support
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in eligibility determination and goal setting
- Deliver counseling and intervention services, both individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to support student learning and positive behavioral outcomes
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed within the school environment
- Document evaluations, services provided, and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
