Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Proven ability to fluently speak, read, and write in Spanish and English
  • Previous experience working in a school environment highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote students’ academic and social growth
  • Provide culturally responsive services and support for Spanish-speaking students and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention planning
