Job Description

This contract opportunity offers three distinct roles, each supporting growth and communication at different school sites. With assignments available at PreK and middle school levels, you'll engage with dedicated students and collaborate with passionate education professionals, all while making a meaningful impact.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP-CCC license (ASHA certification required)
- Previous experience in school-based speech-language pathology (PreK-8 preferred)
- Expertise in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering both individual and group therapy
- Strong communication, collaboration, and record-keeping skills
- Committed to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students at assigned schools
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in line with school and state protocols
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Offer consultation to teachers and parents to support student achievement and comprehension
- Participate in school meetings and staff development to remain informed and share expertise
