Data Engineer
Job Description
Kahuna Workforce Solutions is seeking a mid-career hire Data Engineer to support the implementation
\nof Analytics and Search of our proprietary software, Kahuna, that bridges the gap between core human
\nresources processes and operational development to satisfy the requirements for competency assurance
\nand competency development.
\nAs a Kahuna Data Engineer, youll help design, implement and deliver Search and Data Analytics for
\nproprietary products that align with custom requirements. The Data Engineer requires strong business
\nacumen with technical expertise. The ideal candidate is an accountable team player who is eager to
\nmake an impact.
\nWhat Youll be Doing:
\nAssist with Net new features and functionality for Data Analytics and Search: define, design,
\ndevelop, test, implement, train and support
\nCollaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, create options and find solutions
\nMigrate customer data and existing analytics to the new platform
\nLiaise with our product development team for new features
\nUnderstand existing data model
\nAdhere to companys information security and privacy policies, procedures, standards, and
\nguidelines
\nWhat Youll Need for This Role:
\nData modeling experience
\nStrong analytical skill set
\nAbility to analyze and manipulate complex data sets
\nExemplary communication and interpersonal skills
\nSoftware engineering principles and practices
\nBachelors or Masters in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or other
\nquantitative disciplines
\nTechnical Skill set:
\no TSQL: at least 3 years of experience
\no Programming (.Net-C# and/or python): at least 3 years of experience
\no Relational Databases (SQL Server): at least 3 years of experience
\no Strong Software engineering skills: at least 3 years of experience
\no ETL experience using Talend: at least 1 years of experience
\no NoSQL/Document databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch): at least 6 months experience
