CNC Programmer

Key Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will have experience using GibbsCAM; however, training can be provided for the right individual with strong CNC programming experience.

• Program CNC mills and/or lathes.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.

• Develop CNC programs using GibbsCAM or other CAD/CAM software.

• Design custom tooling and fixtures.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement necessary program changes.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support lean manufacturing initiatives.

• Maintain accurate documentation of CNC programs and machine setups.

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.

• Work closely with machinists to ensure successful production outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer.

• Experience with CAD/CAM software; GibbsCAM experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of machining geometry, GD&T, and precision tolerancing.

• Experience working in aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing environments is preferred.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
