CNC Programmer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience using GibbsCAM; however, training can be provided for the right individual with strong CNC programming experience.
Program CNC mills and/or lathes.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Develop CNC programs using GibbsCAM or other CAD/CAM software.
Design custom tooling and fixtures.
Troubleshoot machining issues and implement necessary program changes.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support lean manufacturing initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation of CNC programs and machine setups.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Work closely with machinists to ensure successful production outcomes.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer.
Experience with CAD/CAM software; GibbsCAM experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of machining geometry, GD&T, and precision tolerancing.
Experience working in aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing environments is preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
