Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for elementary grades required
- Previous experience in elementary or resource room settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP process, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized instruction to elementary resource students
- Develop, modify, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with general education staff, parents, and support personnel
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for student progress and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
