Special Education Teacher in Oneida, WI

This contract opportunity calls for two experienced Special Education Teachers to deliver cross-categorical instruction for grades 6-8 and high school. In this role, you'll provide support within settings that integrate students with a range of mild-to-moderate disabilities, valuing every learner’s unique strengths and needs.

Working collaboratively with staff, you’ll have the opportunity to shape individualized education plans and implement targeted interventions that help all students progress. Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher certification (License #2801)
• Demonstrated background working with students with autism and a range of mild-to-moderate disabilities
• Experience or strong interest in grades 6-8 or high school special education settings
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt materials effectively for varied learners
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, families, and related service providers
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive classroom communities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering cross-categorical instruction for students with diverse learning needs
• Designing and implementing IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Employing effective behavioral and academic interventions
• Regularly communicating student progress with families and educational teams
• Contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings and continuous professional growth

This position runs from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027.
