As the cornerstone for delivering high-quality special education services, you will serve K-12th grade students by developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, and ensuring educational goals are met in compliance with all regulations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education certification
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in a K-12 school setting
- ARD facilitator experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and state/federal regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs throughout the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for a varied caseload of K-12th grade students
- Coordinate and lead ARD meetings, collaborating closely with parents, general education teachers, and support staff
- Track student progress, adjust teaching strategies as needed, and maintain thorough documentation
