Special Education Teacher - Cottage Grove, Minnesota

Step into a dynamic role supporting students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a specialized Setting 3 classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. Your expertise as a Special Education Teacher will help create a positive and inclusive environment, implementing evidence-based strategies tailored to each student’s learning profile. Whether you are dual-licensed or hold a preferred EBD or ASD endorsement (with ABS considered), your contribution will be highly valued within this close-knit school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education licensure (Tier 3 or 4) with DCD or ASD endorsement (ABS accepted; EBD or ASD preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in Setting 3 classrooms, especially with EBD clusters
• Strong background in supporting students with ASD and/or DCD
• Passion for inclusive education and individualized instructional strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
