Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Delaware
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • School-based SLP experience desired, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in small group settings
  • Document student progress and maintain timely, accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Consult with teachers and families, providing strategies for classroom and at-home support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative decision-making
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
