Step into a dynamic role supporting students across three schools, working with K-12 learners in a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position. This assignment begins September 1 and is designed to provide essential coverage during a maternity leave. Start this journey full time, then transition to a consistent two-day-per-week schedule after Thanksgiving, continuing through the end of the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly K-12, is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students across three school sites
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support each student’s goals
  • Maintain thorough records to track student progress and compliance with IEP requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations to ensure holistic student support
  • Adjust intervention approaches as needed based on measurable student outcomes
