School Speech Language Pathologist - Tucson, AZ

This position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC or CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with an interest in educational settings. With a two-day-per-week schedule, you'll have the chance to make a difference while enjoying flexibility in your workweek. Supervision and mentorship will be provided for qualified SLPAs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current or pending licensure in Arizona as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
• Experience supporting speech and language needs in a school setting
• Understanding of IEPs, therapy documentation, and progress monitoring
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with educators, families, and students
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team
• For SLPA candidates, openness to supervision by a licensed SLP as required

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy to students according to their Individualized Education Plans
• Assessing student abilities and tracking progress toward communication goals
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning
• Attending relevant IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
• Completing documentation and reporting in alignment with school and state standards
• Participating in supervision and professional growth activities as appropriate
