Qualifications & Experience:

• MN Para Educator Exam successfully completed, or at least 60 college credits attained
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to encourage and motivate students
• Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and support personnel
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful classroom environment
• Experience in educational or childcare settings preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students as directed by the special education teacher
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all learners
• Assist with implementing individualized education plans and adapting activities for diverse learning needs
• Support students with daily tasks, routines, and classroom participation
• Collaborate with the educational team to monitor progress and communicate student needs
• Help maintain classroom organization and a positive learning space
