Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within a school environment located in Tijeras, NM. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy to students, enhancing communication skills and supporting individual educational plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality telespeech therapy sessions to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to integrate speech goals into the broader educational framework.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in virtual meetings and consultations with families and school staff to support student development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience delivering speech therapy via telepractice platforms.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Ability to engage students effectively in a virtual setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with educational protocols and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) processes preferred.
