Forklift Operator
Job Description
Forklift $14/hr.
Integrity Trade Services is partnered with a local furniture manufacturer and hiring a Material Handler. The Material Handler will maintain production and quality standards, and a safe working environment while working as a team.
Material Handler Tasks and Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within the shipping dept.
- Keeping data entry, bulk tags, and documentation for material up to date.
- Efficiently and accurately pick orders based on customer requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of products to prevent damage.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including packing, labeling and organizing inventory.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while operating equipment handling materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order pulling
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday thru Friday (Some Saturdays will be required depending on workload and department)
Minimum Requirements:
- Physically able to lift items up to, but not limited to 50lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- 1-year experience in a warehouse environment/assembly line is a plus.
- Must be able to follow instructions and procedures.
- Must be able to pass screenings
