Radiologic Technologist in Brandon, FL

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Must be a certified Radiologic Technologist with valid credentials
• Proficiency in general radiology and X-ray procedures
• Demonstrated experience operating digital imaging systems
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Familiarity with patient safety regulations and infection control protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous contract or travel healthcare experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality radiology and X-ray examinations as ordered by providers
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging studies
• Ensure accurate technical execution and proper documentation of all procedures
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot radiology equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Adhere strictly to safety precautions, protecting patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Collaborate closely with the clinical team to interpret and deliver prompt imaging results
• Uphold confidentiality and provide compassionate care throughout the patient experience
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of imaging department protocols and workflow
