Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem role offers the opportunity to contribute as a pharmacist within a dynamic Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy setting. Operating with Liberty RX software, the position supports comprehensive pharmaceutical services during the week of October 5-9, with scheduled hours Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Responsibilities include preparing and verifying prescription orders, managing inventory with strict adherence to best practices for controlled substances, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The pharmacist will maintain the pharmacy's retail environment, provide telepharmacy support, and collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager to meet operational goals while addressing customer needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and verify prescription orders accurately.
  • Oversee ordering and inventory control of pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Apply best practices for storing prescription drugs and controlled substances.
  • Maintain and verify drug lists and expiry dates.
  • Manage pharmacy appearance and product displays.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, patient data, and insurance claims.
  • Support telepharmacy services and collaborate with pharmacy management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana Pharmacist license.
  • Immunization certification.
  • Professional resume and references.
  • Completion of skills checklist.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
