Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Valid California SLP License
- SLP-CCC, CFY, or eligibility for supervision
- Background in pediatric or school-based speech-language therapy
- Experience with IEPs, evaluation, progress reporting, and goal setting
- Ability to provide individualized support and participate actively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong commitment to culturally responsive practice
- Excellent communication and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve elementary and middle school students, assessing and addressing a variety of communicative needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure high-quality student support
- Consult with teachers and parents to foster continuity and carryover of communication strategies
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
