Requirements and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid California SLP License
  • SLP-CCC, CFY, or eligibility for supervision
  • Background in pediatric or school-based speech-language therapy
  • Experience with IEPs, evaluation, progress reporting, and goal setting
  • Ability to provide individualized support and participate actively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong commitment to culturally responsive practice
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve elementary and middle school students, assessing and addressing a variety of communicative needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure high-quality student support
  • Consult with teachers and parents to foster continuity and carryover of communication strategies
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings
