Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required.
  • Active SLP licensure in South Carolina or eligibility for state licensure.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Commitment to providing individualized and evidence-based therapy.
  • Comfortable working with diverse caseloads and IEP processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students presenting with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the school team.
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and small group formats.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for educational strategies.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to support student goals.
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
