Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required.
- Active SLP licensure in South Carolina or eligibility for state licensure.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills with students, families, and educational staff.
- Commitment to providing individualized and evidence-based therapy.
- Comfortable working with diverse caseloads and IEP processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students presenting with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the school team.
- Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and small group formats.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for educational strategies.
- Engage with parents and caregivers to support student goals.
- Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
