Step into a rewarding opportunity serving young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a part-time, contract basis for the upcoming school year. You'll play a vital role in supporting students’ speech and language development, likely at an elementary school, for 20 hours per week.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Texas state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience working in pediatric settings, especially within schools
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and knowledge of school-based service delivery
  • Skilled in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Compassionate approach to working with young children and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Perform thorough speech/language evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment data and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with school and professional standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, share expertise, and help drive student outcomes
  • Stay current on best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology and school-based services
