Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
• Experience in elementary settings, especially K-2, preferred
• Demonstrated strength in leading special education teams
• Comfort facilitating eligibility, IEP, MTSS, and 504 meetings
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with families and interdisciplinary staff
• Ability to manage a moderate-sized caseload (approximately 75 students with IEPs)
• Knowledge of cognitive testing procedures and experience in evaluation processes

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead the special education team in planning and service delivery
• Coordinate and facilitate eligibility, IEP, MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), and 504 Plan meetings
• Oversee problem-solving procedures and support staff in evidence-based decision-making
• Evaluate students as part of assessment teams, with minimal direct service minutes required
• Act as the primary point of contact for compliance and paperwork related to special education
