Step into an enriching opportunity for a skilled Physical Therapist passionate about making a difference in students' lives. This part-time, contract position takes place onsite from August 11th, 2026, through May 25th, 2027, offering you a stable and rewarding school-year schedule. With a manageable commitment of 20 hours per week, you will work weekdays between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
As a valued team member, you'll supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, collaborate closely with students, and play an integral role in their achievement of individual educational milestones.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of delivering therapy per IEP objectives
- Ability to effectively supervise and mentor SLPA’s
- Skilled at evaluating student progress and documenting outcomes
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
What You'll Do:
- Oversee and support SLPA’s in providing high-quality student services
- Plan and implement individualized and group therapy sessions based on students’ speech and language needs as outlined in IEPs
- Monitor, document, and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Determine readiness for termination of therapy in collaboration with educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and work alongside teachers and staff to support student success
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for all learners
