This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is situated in a welcoming school environment supporting PreK-8th grade learners. Work among passionate professionals to help students achieve greater independence and success in their daily activities.
Qualifications:
- Valid state-issued Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Background in working with PreK-8th grade populations is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and individualize interventions for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to PreK-8th grade students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop appropriate goals and intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapeutic recommendations
- Document progress, maintain up-to-date records, and participate in team meetings
- Support students’ participation in classroom activities and promote skill development for daily living and academic tasks
