Special Education Teacher - Luling, Louisiana

This onsite, full-time assignment spans the academic year from early August through late May, offering a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week. As the sole Resource Teacher for the campus, you will deliver personalized support and instruction to students, empowering them to achieve their fullest potential within a collaborative atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Louisiana Special Education Educator Certificate is required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, support personnel, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and interventions to students with diverse needs in a resource setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in alignment with state and federal requirements
