School Psychologist | Spring, Texas

This contract position offers a rich experience working across multiple sites with a diverse caseload in a dynamic school setting near Spring, TX. The assignment runs from late July through the end of May, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills, with experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
• Familiarity with federal and state special education regulations
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 60-80 students and complete 8-10 evaluations monthly
• Flexibility to work across 2-3 school locations as needed

Primary responsibilities and duties include:

• Conducting assessments, evaluations, and eligibility determinations for special education services
• Consulting with teachers, families, and school staff to develop, implement, and monitor student interventions
• Participating in and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings
• Supporting positive behavioral interventions and providing crisis intervention as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and written reports that meet compliance and timeline requirements
• Promoting and advocating for students’ social-emotional well-being
