Special Education Teacher in Gonzales, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification is required
• Demonstrated experience with elementary or high school learners preferred
• Understanding of inclusion and/or life skills curriculum implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to design and adapt individualized education programs (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Track progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers
• Engage with families and guardians to provide updates and gather input
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment for all learners
