Make a difference in the lives of students with special needs by providing essential support and instruction. This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated Special Education Teacher skilled in delivering personalized and small group services to students ranging from grades 6 to 12. You'll work a minimum of 20 hours per week in a supportive environment that values your expertise and commitment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Special Education Teaching license for the state of New Hampshire
  • Demonstrated experience working with students in middle and high school (grades 6-12)
  • Strong understanding of IEP implementation and compliance
  • Proven ability in delivering direct 1:1 and small group SPED instructional services
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instructional services to students with a range of special education needs
  • Tailor teaching strategies to meet diverse learning requirements in both 1:1 and small group settings
  • Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs), tracking student progress and updating documentation as required
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
  • Engage in regular communication with guardians to report progress and support at home learning
  • Participate in relevant meetings, professional development, and training workshops
