Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Port Orchard, WA

Make a meaningful impact working with young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting early learning and elementary students ages 3 to 5. This full-time, on-site contract role centers on students in developmental preschool programs, itinerant settings, and child find evaluations. Play a vital part in helping children reach critical communication milestones near the scenic area of Belfair, WA.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential in Washington State
• Experience or interest in early childhood, elementary, or developmental pediatrics
• Background in schools, healthcare, pediatric therapy, or teletherapy welcome
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored speech and language therapy to early learning and elementary-aged students
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including child find evaluations for developmental delays
• Develop and implement IEP goals focused on functional communication skills
• Deliver therapy across various environments, including classrooms and itinerant locations
• Consult with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
