Key Qualifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography required; advanced certification in Interventional Radiology highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and supporting interventional procedures (biopsies, angiograms, line placements, and drain insertions)
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique
  • Ability to effectively communicate with radiologists, nurses, and team members
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced, patient-focus environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for interventional radiology procedures
  • Assist radiologists during minimally invasive diagnostics and therapeutic procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate, high-quality images
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and comfort throughout procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements and safety guidelines
  • Facilitate patient positioning, provide pre- and post-procedural care, and support care team in emergent situations
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of work area and imaging instruments
