Job Description

This opening is geared toward highly skilled SLPs with experience in school settings, particularly those who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and have a passion for supporting student success. While the district is currently exploring direct hires, there is a strong possibility of moving forward with contracted professionals as the hiring process unfolds through the end of July.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active SLP state license and CCC-SLP certification
- Previous experience delivering speech and language services in school environments
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and engaging caregivers and educational teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans to support student communication needs
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to ensure alignment of services
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
