Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or immediate eligibility
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a diverse student population
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress using school-based systems
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Educate staff and families about speech-language disorders and strategies for classroom support
